I will be here tomorrow and the house is open, but enter at your own rist. Stuff is everywhere so beware. See some of you tomorrow and the rest of you on Thursday!
For some reason everyone thought I needed more choc. in my gut and what is more they all put cherries in the center of the chololate! I can’t stop eating them, no I am not pregnant, just really fat from all of the candy I have eaten and well my eyes are glazed over much like a person in a coma.
yum.
QUESTION: Are you all wanting to get together Tuesday? or just on Thursday? Let me know (MY house is filled with tons of new toys, I haven’t yet found “places” for them and every time I try to clean the girls get them ALL out)
If any of you who have “learned” how to pack family bags and has time on Monday, Can you help? We have about 100 left to pack before 6pm on Monday.

Ladies you are so wonderful! Thank you for all of your and your hubbies help (shout outs to Jenny and family!!). By 7:30 family 200 was bagged and that was the goal. Thank you.
I must say there sure are a lot of pooped babes! We want to say get well to Erin and Chris and of couse to Tim (Issy’s daddy).
Thank you for the gifts. Maddy insisted on using the towel and hanging them up for Santa to see. And we are so blessed by your graciousness. Thank you.
Stay tuned and we will post all of the plans for the Noon-year. :-p
Ladies we have a few families needing prayer…well we all do, but some have specific prayers.
Jenny Statz’s son is going to have a surgery on Friday (tomorrow). Although it isn’t a “major” one it is still surgery and as we all know, when we have a kid under any doctor care for health problems it is nerve racking. Pray for health, for doctors steady hands and a fast recovery, also pray for Jenny to be strong.
Rachel’s (Issy’s mom) hubby is having surgery on his knee on Tuesday. Pray that the surgery is effective and that Rachel can care for both Issy and Tim as well as handle the holidays.
Let’s keep our mom’s in prayer and witness God’s love!
Thank you for the “fund drive” you helped with for the nursery in Arg. South America. So far we have raised $200 and there is still one more check on its way. I will be sending the money just as soon as I get the last check. Major Nancy will be so excited to share the new gifts with the little ones in her care. Thank you.
Tuesday we will continue to give:
Where: The Salvation Army 103 s. 2nd Ave (Take Bridge to 3rd, turn south on 3rd – it is a one way- take to ELM turn left on ELM then right on second and park in the lot on the left. The glass doors off the lot will be unlocked. You can also come by way of stewart Ave to 2nd ave. The building is across from the Chatter box bar. It is large and white!
We will start after 3pm and go until 6 or 6:30pm. Bring hubbies and babies. We will have food for all and even a babysitter to help watch the little ones.
post any questions here!.
I think the weather is looking good and we will still meet tonight. We will just make sure to keep our eye to the window so if it starts up again we will end so people get home safely.
Do not forget your ornament for tonight’s “party”.
We will see ya soon.
-k
Do you want to meet tonight or do you want to move it to another time when the weather isn’t acting up. I am concerned for Betsy and Rachel driving the distance as well as the rest of you racing around to pick up the little ones and get here. Let me know and I will start calling people if we need to cancel (stay posted here too).
Ladies,
Thank you so much for loving my girls. Madelyn feels so loved by you and that means the world to me. I love how she climbs into your laps and reads stories and does your art projects (although that was a bit annoying
) But really thank you for giving a bit of love to my girls when they need it most. You all are such a blessing to our family and ministry.
PLANNING NOTES:
Tuesday 9th: my house bring an ornament (anything you like but keep it in the $5-$10 range). We have 4 boys, 5 girls and lots of moms! If you would like to bring a Christmas-y treat to share you may. I will provide drinks (non-alcoholic, of course). This will also be our fund drive for the Salvation Army Nursery in Argentina, South America. What would be a good donation? What you feel you can give! I am thinking my family is going to do $25 – $50. If 9 of us give at least 25 we are able to give them $225….That I think is a good goal. I will just have an box or something to pass (like an offering plate!) and you can put it in. If you need to write a check make it payable to The Salvation Army and in the memo line put “Nursery”.
Tuesday 16th: At the Salvation Army (103 s. 2nd Ave, across the street from the Chatter Box bar, park in the lot on the south side of the building and go in the glass door right there on the parking lot). I will be serving taco soup and African peanut soup. Bring your hubbies and babies and we will get to work. This will be SO fun. Oh, we will plan on working from 3:15ish to 6ish any time you give is a gift and blessing! Can someone help me figure out food for the babies? I could bring boxes of rice/oatmeal cereal and maybe some one wants to bring some other fruit/veggies to mix into it? My thought is that around5 pm we will take a break to eat or we can do a eat as you feel hungry kind of thing!
Again thank you for your support andlove, I can’t wait for all of the planned fun this next month!
