Hey ladies.  I think most people wanted to cook food for the new arrivals coming Auguest(Mindy’s) and September (Chris’).  So our first step.  Chris and Mindy what foods do you HATE (like certin meats, veggies…) anything you really REALLY like.

Before Christmas we did a fund raiser for a day care in Argentina.  Here is an update:

Sorry this has taken so long to get pictures to you. With the money you sent we purchased a large rug and two small rugs (with roads for cars). We also just bought a DVD player with the rest of the money and some that we added with it. With another donation we were able to buy some (cheap) DVDs.

Here are pictures of some of the kids holding up the DVDs and playing in the Day Care. One Sunday I took a picture of all 10 of the kids together. During the week when there is school – 4 kids go to school in the morning and 4 go in the afternoon so all the kids were not there for the action pictures.

Let’s see if we can pull it off! I talked with Katrina tonight and we think we are going to try Dad’s night this Tuesday if it works for everyone else. We are going to have “build your own pasta night.” So, we are going to need items such as: Pasta!, meatballs, marinara sauce, alfredo sauce, chicken, parmasen cheese, mushrooms, peppers, onions, whatever anyone likes on their pasta!

Also I just got word tonight that there is a December birth.  Someone you will not guess, but she is part of the facebook group.  I don’t know if she is telling people yet.  However, she told me so start the guessing!

May is coming so fast so get out your calendar and make sure to note that Tuesday may 19th and 26th are at Tara and Finn’s house.  Same time, just different location.  let me know if you need an address.

So all you ladies I have been thinking about the second child and what was the best thing ever….food.  So I have a question for you all:

Would you like to do baby showers for the babies (one or individual showers) or would you rather make a dish for the family to enjoy when the new one joins the ranks?  For the food what I would do was make up a little thing where the expecting families could give their disliked food and liked food and then a calendar.  You could either make a dish that is kept in the freezer and give it to them (with cooking instructions) or you could sign up for a day to drop off the meal!

When I was 8 months pregnant Maddy started having nightmares and only mom could make her better.  So I would have to go into her room and calm her down.  Then she decided that I should lay down with her (yes in her toddler bed that has only a 12 inch opening to climb into it).  One morning Brian woke up and I was missing so he came into Maddy’s room to find me asleep, wedged between my daughter and the bed rails.  I was so stiff that Brian had to pick me up to get me out!!

I am so glad that she has a full size bed now (no we don’t sleep with her, but story time is much more fun in bed with her).  We have been considering #3 and how to do sleeping arrangements if we go down this road (more honestly if God takes us down this road).  I can not even imagine Madelyn and Lydia sharing a room and having bunk beds!  I wonder if we can teach them to share a bed?  What do you do if you do have bunk beds and the kid in the top throws up? ick.  We have a day bed and trundle, but really I am not into making and pushing the bed under, but maybe that is the answer….or maybe we do put maddy in the basement bedroom!  Anyway, we don’t have to think about that now, as it isn’t an issue, but that is what brought up the fat lady memory!  Happy baby belly to you all.
